Volnut.net is another project that I’m extremely proud to be a part of. This site allows volunteers to find projects that they can volunteer for. Organizations looking for volunteers can post their company profiles, events and more.
This project involved a complex rebuild, including improving the design, usability and functionality of the site.
I think this site has a chance to expand well beyond their current service area in Pennsylvania. My recommendations to them going forward are going to be for them to actively promote their site and engage users as much as possible on social media sites.
